MEET SPIN
A program that turns an everyday wait into a chance to discover, practice, and grow.
Between the washing and the drying, there’s room for a little wonder. SPIN brings free, engaging learning sheets to neighborhood laundromats, giving young children something to figure out, families something to explore together, and curious minds a reason to keep going.
Designed for K–3 learners, SPIN Sheets begin with approachable activities and small wins. The goal is to help children build confidence, strengthen their skills, and feel ready for the next challenge—one fresh sheet at a time.
Our vision brings local school chapters, educators, and laundromat owners together to keep these small learning stations stocked and welcoming. No purchase. No account. Just a pencil, a page, and a little possibility.
SMALL SETUP. MEANINGFUL MOMENTS.
The pilot planA compact sheet holder, simple supplies, and a welcoming sign—with the laundromat owner’s permission.
Families choose a sheet, try a few questions, and build confidence together during the laundry cycle.
A local school chapter checks in, replenishes supplies, and helps the station stay useful.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN
We saw an opportunity in an everyday wait: what if children could use laundry time to practice a skill, discover something new, and feel proud of a small accomplishment?
SPIN is starting with that idea—and an invitation to help it grow.
SPIN Sheets are reviewed and approved by an LAUSD teacher to support grade-appropriate skills. SPIN helps students prepare for the school day with confidence and a stronger foundation for what comes next. One skill, one sheet, and one small success at a time, we help confidence grow.
